Installation Options
Depending on your site and ground conditions, timber bases can be installed as either:
Freestanding Base
A solid raised frame supported by timber legs, ideal for when you already have an existing hardstanding base in place, such as concrete or tarmac.
This type of timber base sits neatly on top of the existing surface, raising the building slightly for improved airflow and protection.
Concreted-In Base
Where extra stability is needed, legs can be concreted into the ground for a stronger permanent foundation.
We will always advise which option is best based on your location and ground type.
