When you buy a shed from us, you deal directly with our team from start to finish. We don’t subcontract our work out – we deliver and install all of our own buildings, so you know exactly who you’re dealing with at every stage.
If you’ve chosen to have your building installed by us, please read the guide below to help ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.
Access - Getting Your Shed to the Site
Your shed is delivered in sectional panels. This means our installation team will carry each panel by hand from the flatbed van to the final position of the building. Some panels can be over 3 metres long, so clear, safe access is essential.
What We Need to Know About Your Access
Width: Are pathways wide enough to safely carry large panels?
Obstacles: Steps, tight corners, low walls, overgrown shrubs or garden furniture can slow things down or prevent access altogether.
Parking: We need space to park the van as close to the site as possible on the day of delivery.
If you’re unsure whether access will be suitable, please send us a few photos or give us a call to talk it through before your installation date.
The Base – Is Yours Ready?
If your building is being installed by us, a solid, level base must be in place before delivery.
Ideal base options include:
A concrete slab
Patio slabs, spaced evenly and set level
We don’t carry out groundworks for concrete or paving slabs, however we can supply a timber frame baseif required – please ask us for a quotation.
If a suitable base is not ready on the day of delivery, we may be unable to assemble the building. In this situation, a recall fee will be charged for a return visit to complete the installation.
Important: Garages require a concrete base built to our specific measurements. Please contact us for full details before arranging your base.
If you have any questions at all about access or bases, we’re always happy to help – a quick conversation beforehand can save delays later.
